The Ad-hoc project will develop self- learning language material.

The Ad-hoc.com tool will be an educational platform, which will include two main applications, a web based application for on-line learning, making full use of multimedia tools (flash animations, sound, interactive video etc) and a WAP application for location independent learning at the disposal of travellers. A PDA compatible version will be developed as well to be used with the latest PDA devices (palmtops, new generation mobile phones). The educational platform will be prepared for the latest in GSM technologies, such as HSCSD (High Speed Circuit Switched Data) and GPRS (General Packet Radio Services).
