The educational approach, which was adopted in the framework of the project, is to use scenario-based design methods as a means of defining suitable educational applications of the mobile technology.

Scenario building is one of the partnerships main design techniques to explore new forms of interaction in which the physical environment is able to react to human behavior, using handheld devices as a mediator. In the framework of the AD-HOC project a series of scenarios has been developed describing different situations. Language is presented through written text, audio and through animations or video. The language modules are divided in very limited sub-modules to help the learner in the fast access to the specific language patterns he/she is looking for.
